Merrose farm is a superb site if you want peace and quiet with spacious pitches and very clean (though now looking a bit tired) toilets/showers etc . the wardens on all our visits have always been friendly and helpful. The site has a superb dog walk that is basically a small well kept field but well spacious enough to exercise even the largest of dogs,and this is my only moan-such a superb facility is abused by some dog owners who do not clean up after their dog, that does and will only help to alienate dog owners against non dog owners. The surrounding area is full of typical cornish coastal ports/beaches etc and well worth the excursion of main roads. Not our first visit and hopefully not our last .If the weather is in your favour I believe this is one of the best places to visit what ever the distance to travel.
