In our honest opinion, this is the best site in Cornwall. The site is at the bottom of a traffic light controlled narrow lane. What a relief when you get there after a long journey. The site is very well maintained with very friendly and helpful staff. We have stayed at this site every year for the last 12 years with no complaints at all. Sometimes you may want to move pitch for a different location on the site but that's life. It is a very quiet site but as to be expected the children play area can become very active. The old shower block would benefit from an overhaul. When it rains, some of the hard standings can get very wet. TV reception is good . We found that our portable satellite system reception was non existent in some locations. Wireless internet is good but slows down in the evenings and on rainy days when everybody logs on. This site is well located for use as a touring base. If you take your dogs on holiday then we recommend the "park and float" or "park and ride" service in Falmouth. The Truro park and ride service does not allow dogs to travel. A nice walk from the site is to Carne Beach but its like walking up mount Everest on the way back from the beach.
