Merrose
Just spent a week at Merrose it was so peaceful the wardens and staff do an excellent job in keeping the site and facilities tidy and clean The farm across the fields that do meals was an excellent bonus for walking the dogs and a coffee stop half way as was Pendower beach. Can recommend the pub in Philleigh a good meal and home brewed beer well worth a visit.
Can't really comment on family as we have no kids but it has a large play area
