Great first time visit

We have been here twice in July. Our first ever trip in an old campervan and our first experience of a club site. The first trip was so enjoyable that we booked a longer second stay. The first stay was definitely quieter, as the campsites wasn't at full capacity. Having said that,we felt the staff were brilliant at the way had to deal with all the new restrictions, Extra cleaning etc . One member of staff even leant us his levellers to try out, which made a huge difference. The dog walking area is large and safe, so was a boon for our young terrier. It is easy to get to the coastal path to walk in either direction with lovely dog friendly beaches. The bus was great, very underused. We felt grateful it was running so well. There is a good, although expensive, farm shop across the road from the site with their own meat and fish. People were helpful and friendly and we had no great problems in the toilet and shower blocks. If there were four bands there, someone just popped in to check that four cubicles were being used, and that was it. Simple and no friction at all. We just felt very grateful that the site was open and that it felt safe. We didn't mind any minor inconveniences, like the odd queue every now and then. I think people who complained were forgetting that we are still in the midst of a pandemic, that rates have gone up in Cornwall because of the increased movement around the country and that there will be some inconveniences, but that's a darn site better than being seriously ill or worse.... Our only niggle was that there was a very large rowdy group in our field, who flouted the rules and were eventually evicted. But although they had been asked to leave in the evening, they had been allowed t stay till the next day and were noisy till the early hours. It didn't bother me, as I have good earplugs, but it bothered others. I think the wardens should have stuck to their firm boundaries with this group.
