Gem of a site!
I visited Merrose in mid March 2017. The site was in pristine condition and looked a picture. The wardens were friendly and knowledgable and there is a well stocked shop. There is a great play area and I will look forward to returning with grandchildren.
The coast path is a fifteen minute walk away with tremendous views and access to lovely beaches and the pretty village of Portscatho. Don't miss the Hidden Hut for great food right on the cliff top. All in all a great short stay!
