First time we have stayed at Meathop Fell and we had a lovely stay. Access was easy once off of motorway but the lane leading up is quite narrow . It was very quiet and peaceful. It had a great dog walk field to take your pooch for a quick walk first thing and before bed time. Toilets as usual were clean and well looked after. The shop had a few groceries which was very handy. Very pleasant friendly staff. The site was very near (3 mile walk) to lovely towns such as Grange over Sands and the Lakes themselves (short car journey). I was also very struck by the beautiful hedgerows on the walk to Grange Over Sands, there were so many wild flowers within them, so pretty. Definitely want to go back again.
