Having just spent 4 relaxing nights at The Meathop Fell site, I can certainly recommend it. The amenities were all very clean and well maintained, the wardens were helpful and unobtrusive unless you needed them. We had a beautiful view over Morecambe bay and were lulled to sleep with the sound of the Owls at night. An easy site to find and access, following the CC directions. Grange over Sands is a lovely old Victorian sea side town with shops, pubs and a fantastic butchers. We had a great afternoon over the bay in Arnside, we walked up the Knot and had a pint in the Albion overlooking the bay, a nice end to our stay.
