We stayed on this site for one week and all though we had a lovely weeks stay there are some negatives about the site. The approach road is very narrow so don’t try arriving before twelve because there are only a few passing places. Some Caravans were arriving at 10am when we were going out for the day and we had to pull over to let them past. The wardens should turn Caravans away that arrive long before twelve. Lots more non awning pitches than awning pitches. Lots of trees so very shady in most areas and watch for tree sap and seeds sticking to caravan/ car. Not for people with mobility problems as a lot of the pitches some distance from the shower block. The best thing about the site is it’s location to the lakes.
