Last minute getaway
Rather than take our caravan back to its storage after it's service we decided to visit Meathop Fell for the weekend. The site is really nice and handy for all South Lakeland beauty spots. We parked in the station at Windermere and walked up to Orrest Head where there is a wonderful view along the lake and across to the Langdale fells. The wardens were pleasant and worked hard to keep the site immaculate. We enjoyed our visit and hope to return next year.
