Half Term Heaven
Just had a few days at half-term split between sites in the Lakes. Meathop was an excellent site with a small park for families, good facilities and brilliant wardens who were very knowledgeable about the area.
Treasure hunt organised on site for the kids which will keep them entertained (including an explorer prize from the shop) and a nice touch.
Would definitely recommend and will return in future (hopefully without the kids to try L'Enclume in nearby Cartmel).
