I visited this lovely site for the first time earlier this month. There are lots of reasons why this is a good site. For those that like a clean, well maintained site; enjoy the location within the South Lakes; plenty of lovely walks and cycle routes nearby; you will not be disappointed. However, what made this most pleasureable for us, was the helpful, friendly and accommodating approach from the resident wardens. For me, the attitude of the wardens can make or break a holiday, and they certainly made it for us!! I think they deserve a special mention and would recommend this site without hesitation as a result.
