Stayed over the May BH and used as a base for Cartmelll Races and the Simply Red concert. There is nothing more you can say about this site other than superb. The wardens are friendly and accommodating and the site/showers are pristinely spotless and a testiment to their work. Pitches well spaced and well presented. If I had to comment on anythng its the distance to the tv ariel points, you will need a 25mtr cable for some pitches but they are sold in the camp shop and the Caravan Clubs rules on tents. If they are not allowed, why was a trailer tent allowed. Got a little noisy after 11pm one night (awning) but hey, they seem to have a good night and they weren't kids. Other than that enjoy your stay at this off the beaten track site....it really is a fabulous place to stay and we will certainly return.
