This was our first visit here and we were very impressed with this site. As you expect from a CC site it was immaculately clean, shower area's were kept spotless, and pitches were a good size. The wardens were all very friendly and knowledgeable about the area. The reception stocks a lot of the normal essentials with local produce available like bacon, sausages etc. There is a small dog walk through the woods but if you left the site you could walk your dog along country lanes. Grange over sands is a 5 minute drive away and has a lovely promenade with cafe's and restaurants. The promenade cafe near the old Lido offers afternoon tea at very reasonable price. There are numerous walks from Grange over sands and we choose one that went up to the Hospice. This is a fantastic viewpoint over Morecambe bay. All in all this site offered us everything we wanted and in an area we had never visited before but intend to return to.
