Stayed here as we wanted to go to Holker Garden Festival and this site was a perfect location. It was the school half term, so the site was busy, but when we pulled up the warden was very helpful, showed us the available pitches and let us wander round the site to have a look at each pitch before choosing. We selected pitch 24 which was a grass pitch but at the quiet end of the site and gave us a lovely area of grass for our dog. The warden directed us to a field where we could let the dog off, which was back down the lane just at the end of the houses and we also used the woods just up from the entrance. The facilities as others have said are second to none and immaculately clean. Will definitely return.
