Just spent 4 days in the wake of storm Denis. Although the weather was poor, the site is fantastic for a stay in southern lakes. Great reception when we got there and plenty of very large pitches to choose from. We chose pitch 42 as it had great views across the valley. The shower and toilet block are the best we have seen at any site. Immaculately clean and perfectly kept. A credit to the hard work the wardens didn’t. Their is a great hotel 5 mins walk that serve great food. We took our westie who was greeted into the bar area. We will go back, hopefully with better weather, although the rain didn’t detract from what is a great run, clean site. Highly recommend
