I can’t believe some of the negative reviews!
Don’t be put off by the negative reviews. This is a lovely site in a great location for cycling, walking, more strenuous hiking, paddle boarding or kayaking with out having to drive. The site is very well kept by the friendly courteous staff. The Falls of Dochart Inn served a decent pint and good food, and there is a well stocked Co-op within a 10 minute walk of the site.
Whilst it’s no reflection on the site or the staff, CMC could do with spending some money on upgrading the dated facilities block.
