Please don't think we're complaining, but we are trying to sit outside this afternoon in the little bit of sunshine we've had all week, and all we can hear are children squealing on the play area, constant traffic at the side of us on the main road to Killin and (and we realize that maintenance has to be done sometime) someone strimming the site (he must have started this morning). I've had to shut myself in the Motorhome to block out the noise! The site itself is very open, by the river, with a rather tired toilet block, but clean, lovely helpful staff and in a perfect position within a 10 minute walk from Killin and The Falls of Dochart, which are quite stunning. If you don't like the sound of heavy traffic, then avoid the side nearest the road (which we couldn't, due to the volume of visitors when we arrived). There are nice walks up to Loch Tay and some good restaurants in Killin. We're glad we came, but it's not for us.
