Perfection
Absolutely stunning location. The wardens very welcoming and friendly. So quiet and tranquil. I've never seen the night sky with so many stars etc due to zero light pollution. The sound of the river, also very calming. If you cross the small bridge at the opening to the site less than 5 minutes away you have the incredible ancient Finlanrig ruined castle, this is unbelievable and only a few minutes away. Surprisingly no midges either. 5STAR site. Definitely be back.
