Great for visiting Killin and local walks
Had two nights here in April 2017. We had heard that the site can sometimes be susceptible to flooding, and it was interesting to see how the facilities were adapted to offset the worst of this risk. Fortunately it was dry for our stay. The showers/loos were not quite up to usual club standards, but we suspected this was due to designing in flood precautions. The site is great for exploring the village, where there's a good range of shops and eating. Theres a lovely circular walk to be had up to the head of Loch Tay, and nearby there's the NTS site of Moirlanich Longhouse though this is only open at odd times.
