Good site

We stayed 5 nights at Maragowan and found the area beautiful. The views of the hills from the site are good and the Loch, about a mile down the road is lovely. Killin has a good Coop which is well stocked and gets very busy. My husband and daughter hired a kayak which they enjoyed for a couple of hours. Kenmore, which is at the other end of the Loch is worth a visit but don't bother with the cafe which is right on the front. Lovely location but food very average. Drummond Hill has really good walks in the forest with an amazing viewpoint at the top, our dog loved running around here. The site is okay, but the toilets blocks are now looking dated compared to many and there was a lot of road noise. There's no direct access to a dog walk and you need to walk about half a mile before you reach anywhere they can be let off lead. The wardens were friendly and we enjoyed our stay.
