Beautiful, peaceful and well situated
We visited on a cold March weekend and received the warmest of welcomes. The warden on duty was so lovely, friendly and smiling.
Gorgeous mountain views from all over the site, with lots of riverside pitches. It was quiet when we were there, and felt very spacious.
Facilities were clean and fresh. There’s a drying room, great for drying coats and boots if you’ve been out in the rain.
There’s a nice play park on site, but with the site being right on the river, children who’d use the play park would, in my opinion, need to be accompanied at all times. It’s not a site where I’d be happy allowing my ten year old to explore alone.
The site is situated just a few minutes easy walk on a pavement to Killin.
