A real gem
This was our first time at this site, and it won’t be our last! It’s a small site located on the banks of the river with lovely views of the surrounding hills. It’s about fifteen minutes walk from the centre of Killin, where there is a handy Co-op supermarket as well as other shops and cafés. If you’re active, there’s lots to do in the area - walking/cycling/kayaking/fishing etc. We collected walking leaflets from the Information board at the far end of the main street, and there’s a National Trust Office there with local Information too. The site is well kept with friendly wardens who helpfully pointed out which pitches became waterlogged in the rain.
