Time for some TLC?

This is potentially a superb site. The location is lovely, it’s peaceful and there is a delightful sense of space. However, at the moment a gem it is not, though hidden it certainly is, if you arrive from the ‘wrong’ direction and don’t know that it actually adjoins the C&CC site. The ‘other’ club proudly announces its presence with a large and easily visible (from both directions) sign, but the Caravan & Motorhome Club seems to be rather coy about admitting it’s there. And then there’s the access roads which are full of potholes, and the hard standing pitches which look as if the last time they saw better days was when the old king died. The whole place has a tired and worn look to it. Hence the title of my review. Time, I think, for the club to put its hand in its pocket and make this site into the gem it deserves to be. Until it does, when I’m next in the area I shall take the first turning - into the C&CC site. That said, the welcome was warm and the wardens both friendly and helpful.

Be warned, if you do take that first turning you won't get those nice views of the Malverns from the other site. smile
