Spent a week here - our first visit. A large site, but don't let this put you off. The location is beautiful, the views and the walks superb and the site is extremely well run. A mixture of hardstanding and grass pitches - we ended up on a grass one which was a relief when putting in my awning pegs! I'm not one for offering my gushing praise for anyone, but the wardens team really were switched on, professional and above all friendly and cheerful. On our next to last day there was an incident where a departing caravan detached itself from it's towcar and rolled into a caravan on a nearby pitch. Quite shocking and distressing for all the affected members and thankfully there were no injuries. There was substantial damage to both caravans and the electrical hookup post. The wardens swung into action quickly and effectively - this is what they are trained for I'm sure and they must see this sort of thing on an all too regular basis. So, don't hesitate in booking this site - you won't be sorry. We'll be back
