Large site with plenty of space
We stayed here for 2 nights at the end of October. The Friday & Saturday were VERY wet and much of the surrounding area was flooded. We had chosen a pitch at the bottom end of the site and many of the pitches around us were flooded. Although we did have standing water on our pitch it wasn't too bad and when the weather improved dramatically on the Sunday the water quickly dissipated. However during the heavy rain the sheer volume of surface water made it a bit difficult to get to some of the service points (a pair of wellies would have been useful ;-) )
We received a warm welcome from the wardens on arrival and they were always pleasant and helpful when we encountered them during our stay. The facilities were to the usual high standard of the CAMC. It was nice to see that both shower blocks were to remain open until the end of the season. On previous visits at this time of year the lower shower block has been closed and due to the size of the site it can be quite a trek to the other block.
The site is ideally suited for the Malvern Hills if you enjoy walking. It's also very close to the 3 Counties Showground if you want to visit many of the shows held there throughout the year. The city of Worcester is a relatively short drive away and there is plenty to do and see there.
