Stayed here 2 nights en route from The North to The West Country. Directions were good so site easy to find. Lots of grass pitches which siited us due to very dry warm weather and allows for a little more space. Wardens are friendly and less regimented than others. The site is large but the only waste bins are at the toilet block so it is a bit of a trek. There are water service points but very few for the size of the site. The dog walk is ecaxtly that - a pathway through a wooded glade so no opportunity for off lead, which is a shame as there are a lot of people who take their animals with them. Other than being next to the Camping and Caravan site, there is nothing in the local vicinity within walking distance. So, in summary, a good stopover site but nit recommended for any longer.
