From a Guide leader
We stayed here in October and had a lovely week. The site was quiet in the week but almost full at the weekend. The grass pitches had been closed for the end of season. I was disappointed to read the reviews from the members complaining about the Guide event taking place. As an ex Guider I know that the last thing we want to do as an organisation is upset people. I spoke to the wardens about it and was told it was one weekend and the event was between 9am and 4pm. The centre is Worcestershire Guiding centre and is a beautifully appointed place which is used by the organisation throughout the year I believe. (I have no connection with Worcestershire Guide Association). In the end its kids enjoying themselves instead of glued to screens all day.
We enjoyed our stay especially the suicidal golden pheasant whose mission in life was to get as close to our Westie, Robbie as possible.
