Beautiful site

We stayed here for 3 nights at the start of a 3 week holiday in June. It is a large site with spacious pitches, some in the shelter of trees and some in the open, take your pick. The site is beautifully kept and all the facilities are spotless, as you would expect. The dog walk is small and in a wooded area. I asked about walking routes from the site and was told they were available in the information room. Unable to find any there I bought a small booklet from reception. We tried a couple of these walks with little or no success. I would suggest those wanting to walk in the area should do their research online before leaving home. We were more successful looking for the pub.The Swan is about a mile away on a flat, fairly quiet road with a footpath all the way. It was a pleasant walk and took about us about 20 minutes. This was ideal in June but there were no streetlights so it might be less attractive later in the year. The pub itself is in a beautiful situation in the village and has a lovely outside seating area. We had a meal here that was delicious. We enjoyed our 3 days here.
