Avoiding The rain

Spent a few very wet days here in June but somehow managed to do all the things we wanted to do without a soaking, and there is an awful lot to do in the area. two specifics being walking in The Malvern Hills and Eastnor Castle, probably the most dog friendly property we have ever visited. Good reception and the facilities were clean and well appointed. We did dislike the large bulk waste bins as they are difficult to operate with handfuls of rubbish. The site is probably the best kept we have seen for a while, the downside of that being the zealous grass cutting. On the Monday morning we were the last van left in the area we occupied and the warden insisted on driving round and round our pitch cutting that as well as the empty ones. It was very noisy and intimidating, we felt like asking if he wanted us to move pitch. Great dog walk.

I expect the warden was taking advantage of a break in the weather to cut the grass. It has to be done to stop people moaning that the grass is too long.
