Like another reviewer we found this site somewhat lacking. The wardens seemed friendly enough, though one admitted to not having worked for nine years and she said using a computer was a problem for her. We had booked a grass pitch with electrics for our 2-berth caravan plus awning. This was apparently causing something of a crisis and we ended up being sited in an overflow area, though we and the subsequent warden couldn't understand why. This was adjacent to a small caravan storage area, but did mean peace and quiet, that was until a rather odd couple arrived and set up their tent! The toilet block needed some TLC - one shower unit had the curtain missing - in another a small piece of soap (marked Imperial Leather) remained in the dish for the week I was there. At the toilet waste point a notice insisted we put the lid to our cassette toilet into the requisite tray - where the blue stains from dozens of others remained all week. In the dish washing area the taps frequently got stuck in the on position, to the dismay of the user! As for the advertised free wi-fi - my phone just about managed to pick up emails, my tablet never did, provided I joined the other addicts standing alongside the toilet block! Then for the last two days neither device could get a signal at all. This site just isn't up to current standards. Be that because of lack of attention to detail, an amateur approach, sloppiness, or lack of investment, or all of the above, I'll let others decide. Be warned.
