Our second stay at site but this time included over the Bank Holiday so we were a little concerned it may be a bit too busy or noisy. Need not have worried it was just great with good weather showing off Devon. The walks from the site are good with plenty of them suitable for the dog. For peace and quiet and a good place to let the dog run I can recommend the Lydford Forest (turn right at site entrance and right again at the junction and about 1 mile up the road turn left into the forest access road). It is mixed woodland and also has a river running through it.
