Yes I agree with bbqandwine 1 dog per pitch is enough, I have visited 5 different club sites this year and observed members exercising their dogs on vacant pitches and on grass fingers between the picthes all over the site. Irresponsible dog owners are ruining sites for other members and it is about time the club got to grips with this problem. Then there is the added problem of owners allowing their dogs to bark and bark at the slightest thing.
If you cant control you dogs leave them at home.

So what will the site do Tinwheeler? Ask the caravaner to leave the site? I complained on one site where a dog did its business close to my pitch. Not even a 'Sorry' from the owner. I asked the warden what he was going to do? Couldn't ask the offending owners to leave he said. Far too many members of the Club think sites are for dogs. News for you - they are for caravaners NOT dogs. 'DOG' not part of the Club's name.
One reason for going across the Channel for me is that folks on the Continent are just not as soppily forgiving of dogs. They (both dogs AND owners) in my experience are always better behaved and controlled there than in the 'dog loving' UK.
Just flabergasted that anyone would complain about a 2 dog limit. How many do you want - 10?

What will the site do? Just a minute and I’ll get my crystal ball.
As I said, it’s not a club site and they will do whatever they think fit. Club site wardens do whatever they are told to do and if you’re not happy with the outcome then you can take matters up with the club but, I repeat, Ludlow TP is not a club site. There’s no point in having a go at me unless it makes you feel better.

I have read the comments above and had the best laugh in years, but setting this aside, yes I agree with the comments about dogs and their owners. I have just joined the club and certainly would not have done so if I thought dogs had priority over humans. I think any complaint should be taken seriously as these sites are for the comfort of everyone and not just the few.
