A couple of observations about what is a very good site albeit a little characterless
Rather than reiterate much of what has been said in regard to this site and its cleanliness and good sized pitches etc., I would just make a couple of observations;
I found the Wardens, particularly the Assistant Wardens to be outstanding, pleasant and very helpful; in fact I would go as far to say they were as good as any wardens, head or assistant that we have met at any of the many sites we have visited.
The walk into Ludlow takes about 35 minutes but is by, in places, a narrow footpath along what is a busy B road; take care.
If you are interested in National Trust properties then Berrington Hall is a gem and only about 8 miles from the site.
The shop on the site is comparatively well stocked for a CC site, and it has a surprisingly well stocked and comprehensive caravan accessories area with pretty reasonable prices.
Be aware that some pitches are a good walk to the toilet block, check the plan carefully if that is an issue. The Super pitches are excellent.
