Great base for that part of the Dales
We stayed over the May Day bank holiday weekend with our 2 children. Great base for cycling (as long as you like hills!) around Wensleydale, to the Forbidden Corner and various other attractions nearby. Leyburn is a bit of a walk but our 11 and 8 year olds were fine walking back after a great pub evening meal on one of the evenings.
Showers and toilets immaculate and tropically warm! Friendly team of wardens.
I would certainly recommend it as a great base to explore this part of the Dales.
