We enjoyed a glorious stay here over the bank holiday. Leyburn is a good 30 minute walk from site but a lovely village with every shop you could wish for, including cafes, pubs, banks, restaurants etc etc. Lots of lovely places to visit in the area mean you are not short of things to do. Catterick Park Run is close by too if you like to run! Wardens were fantastic and whilst showers were clean, they were in need of updating. Pitches need attention too, a bit rough round the edges and many too small to fit car, awning and caravan on. Pub also in easy walking distance although it's not open all day so check open times before you set off.
