Just returned from a 3 night stay at this location, the site itself is superb spotlessly clean and well laid out pitches on several levels we arrived on the day the site opened so there were only 5 other vans/motor homes on site during the period we were there which for us was great as we never heard a thing all night for the 3 nights we were there (it's totally different come the school holidays we were told when the swimming pool opens) the only criticism we had was being active walkers and having a Dog there was nowhere to walk safely to like pubs, shops, general walking as straight outside the site is a busy main road its quite narrow and no pavements so walking is difficult at the best of times and not recommended at night time, the wardens pointed out to us however you can walk to Looe and the next bay via the alternative route across fields but we didn't try it Looe its self is a long walk down hill about 2-3 miles but the walk is much worse walking back up hill so we ended up using the car much more than we had planned.
