We stayed here in june for a week, found the wardens very helpful and patience, facilities clean. Bus service great just outside club entrance. The location is great lovely places to visit near by.
Only problem we incurred was finding a flat pitch for our Motorhome,( we are going to purchase some higher ramps and hopes that helps in the future) the site was very busy and choice restricted, but as I said earlier the Wardens were very helpful to us and patience we changed pitches 3 times with no complaint from them. Would go again and recommend to others.
A good base for the area
We stayed here in mid September when it was quiet and no children and it suited us well. As its well located for this part of Cornwall I can imagine it being different during the school holidays. Great choice walks into Looe and a good bus service if you dont fancy the long climbs on the way back. The bus service is from the camp entrance with choices of Looe or Plymouth. A very small and basic site shop, but a short walk away is the Park Dean site with a good shop, restaurant and bar. The wardens were friendly and its a site we would return to.
Good but not that good
The site is well situated good for for walks great fish and chips at the Coddy shack Far too many dogs, poop around our site on arrival. One warden a little over officious, he must have been a traffic warden or the like in a previous life. Very noisy at times with the wardens on their toys

Keen to close?
We had a stay of 6 days here. While the site was clean and tidy, we did not find it very relaxing. Too many pitches all close together, it was close to full when we arrived, but found many of the showers and toilets were closed down ready for the winter, it took several complaints to reception by us and others before they decided that late season or not, club members are also entitled to decent facilities. The swimming pool was also closed early without notice. Came away with a strong feeling they could not wait for the season to end. The mobile fish and chip van should be changed, the food was ghastly.

Too busy for us!
We managed to get a short notice serviced pitch for our Motorhome. The last spot was by the play area which was ok as there were no children on site. I wouldn't have wanted to be in that spot in high season though.
The site was clean and tidy and well cared for but the showers could do with being refurbished. We had stayed in comparable sites for less and the same money with stunning facilities nearby.
All in all it was a good site for families and people who don't mind lots of others around. For Us it was a little too busy.
Lovely week
Lovely week spent at this site. Wardens were amazing. Very welcoming and extremely helpful offering advice about local walks and printed bus timetables. Will definitely consider visiting this site again as there is so much to do. Lots of walking available with a local bus service which links in with walks.

The wardens were very friendly and helpful, I wish they were all like this. The facilities and site cleanliness was immaculate. The pool (a nice bonus) could do with modernising and perhaps a cover. We travel to several French site who have made the investment recently and it has been a boon. Bus connections are failry good, a bonus for us motorhomers. But, a minor thing, so many flipping dogs!!!
Another fab time at favourite club site
Had another fab time at Looe, VERY helpful and friendly wardens, pool was lovely and clean and warm, toilets are always looked after, hard standing pitches roomy, site always looked clean and tidy. Wish all site wardens were as friendly as they are in Looe.

Beautiful sunny Cornwall
A very clean site. The staff were very friendly on our arrival. Showers etc very clean but showers lacked power and it took ages when washing long hair!! To be honest I think that they have squeezed in too many pitches, especially on the hard standings (where we were) the roadways are very narrow and so makes it very difficult to get caravan onto pitches especially if you are not lucky enough to have a electric mover fitted (we haven't) this is also made difficult due to the sloping nature of the pitches! We also struggled to get van level on the slopes many hand blocks but we didn't so be aware! Didn't use the pool so can't comment on that. Shop had basic supplies and caravan bits. Follow directions in book to get there and ignore your sat nav as advised ( very glad we did) as we looked at sat nav route during our stay, not caravan friendly lol !
Looe is beautiful great shops and places to eat and clean (dog free) beach, with a lovely harbour too. Site is a good base for exploring around Cornwall we went to both North and South coastal places.
Overall site score 7-8 out of 10 due to the pitch size (not the largest we've stayed on) and struggle to manoeuvre due to room.
