Another lovely club site. One of the warmest welcomes I've ever had from Sandra in reception, and plenty of advice on local eateries and activities. My pitch was enormous and they are very well spaced out. Even though the site was nearly empty even if it was busy this would make a real difference. I was just there for one night so hunkered down in my campervan with my dogs. I had no phone reception but the wifi was pretty good so that didn't matter. Facilities are a little dated but they were spotless and nice and warm and the showers were a decent size. Washing up sinks had really hot water, which is a nice change. The dog walking area is a wood which was a bit muddy underfoot but to be expected after all the rain. The seals at the zoo lived up to their reputation for night time noise but it was fairly muted and actually quite nice to listen to. All up, a nice site with a great team in a unique location.
