A pleasant site
We often use this site as a stop-over on the way between Eastern England to Cornwall, stopping just one night or sometimes more. It's spacious and leafy, with good sized pitches, mostly hard standing. There are several pleasant villages nearby (esp Frome) and many walks. And of course Longleat House and park.
I reduced my score for 'peace and quiet' because the site has many, many tall tress and if the wind is blowing at all the noise can keep light sleepers awake. Top tip: choose a pitch with reference to the sun - always important of course, but more so at this site because there are so many tall trees.
