Second visit to this unique site.

Visited this site for the second time in as many years and once again we weren't disappointed. Obviously really convenient for visiting Longleat, which is amazing. But also a good base for exploring other places. We visited Stonehenge, Lacock and Castle Combe from here. Great site for children with lots of play areas and facilities. An excellent on site dog walk but plenty of places to walk dogs outside of the site. We were on a pitch very near the lake where the children enjoyed waving to the train and listening to the Sea Lions. There was a very loud dawn chorus from the many birds on the site but such a small price to pay for being in the beautiful Wiltshire countryside. We were told by a warden that we could walk to a pub in half an hour when it was in fact more like 55 minutes. Yes we were walking with children but they have experience at hill and mountain walking in Wales and the Alps! The beer was worth it along with having a different view of the Giraffes and Safari drive through Longleat.
