Good for families

No lions but lots of runners!

Enjoyed our 3 night stay despite some soggy weather. Two good walks on estate paths: Heaven's Gate (well signposted, excellent views) and the Pleasure Walk. This is not well indicated but park at the Bath Arms at Horsingham and walk towards the estate, going through barrier. As you come to the fine lodge entrance there is a door to your left with a map pinned on it. This door leads you to the pleasure walk which runs for about a mile parallel to the grand drive to Longleat House. Magnificent old trees and interesting sculptures. Site itself is attractive with excellent facilities. Added bonus on the Saturday evening was the Glow in the Park sponsored 5k run with streams of jogging head torches - quite a sight.
