Good for families

Great for the cyclists and safari goers.

So...the site itself is fantastic We didnt have much to do with wardens apart from checking in..i didn't find the welcome enthusiastic but also like other reviewers opinions, not rude either..i think they have a lot to deal with when people aren't reading instructions about arrival etc. Pitches are spot on..really level so saves time sorting on arrival. You hear the sealion often..seems to be whenever the boat chucks the fish out for them to entertain guests at Longleat...we didn't hear lions or wolves...ah well, maybe next time? The site is big, and makes for a lovely walk after dinner..or it would if the parents of some if the kids were more alert. Some parents just let their kids run riot.. very noisy with literally screams from kids until after 10pm..bit late for a racket...and the speed of their bikes was a bit of a joke..come on Mums n Dads, its everyone's break, not just yours..show some thought for others? We parked on the back line so no sun in the morning, but plenty in the evenings. If you want Longleat Safari...prebook as their numbers are limited and had a 7 day online booking wait Some great walks and cycle routes..very pretty :) We would book again, but maybe in a quieter corner. Lol
