Family Easter Holiday

As we have done before my wife and daughter with her family had a few nice days at The Longleat Site. The site itself is hard to fault but there there are a couple of things that detract from the overall enjoyment.. Firstly the approach road is very narrow in places and if you have a large van you have to hope you don't meet other vehicles coming the other way. The club have tried to help in as much as asking people not to arrive before 1.00pm and making latest time off of site 12.00 noon The other very annoying thing is the fact that caravan club members are not able to walk up to use the restaurants at Longleat without having a valid day ticket. It seems to me both the owners of Longleat and the Caravan Club are missing a trick as at one time you were able to do this. Longleat Estate only stand to make money by allowing Caravan Club members access to the restaurants and as you are not able to enter any of the other facilities without a ticket they could not lose by allowing this facility. The club would also benefit by making the stay more attractive and cutting down car movement, it's a no brainer.
