This was my first time staying at the Longleat site and my first time joining the club. I only joined and booked this site for the Longleat park ticket offer, only to be told when I got to the safari park that they weren't doing the offer anymore, this is despite it still being advertised at the site. I therefore had to pay full price as my kids were looking forward to it. The facilities are dated and to be honest not as clean as I expected, I can only speak for the women's facilities here. Given the COVID situation I would've expected more regular cleaning than the standard once a day, in line with other non-caravan club sites I've visited. That said, the facilities worked, showers were hot, dishwashing facilities were good, I found the staff welcoming, the site itself is nice and good for kids, especially if you want them to get out on their bikes which I didn't really have a problem with, it was nice to see kids outdoors. The only other annoying thing was the noise of the road block for the Safari park which kept clunking to let cars in and out all night. The band system for the toilet and shower block didn't really work but I think they realised this on our second to last day when they added more hooks, although my band was still taken by someone else while I was showering.
