Good for families

Can we give it 6 stars?

Having recently visited during the Easter Break, we can say Longleat is our favourite club site. Facilities were excellent and appeared to have been recently refurbished, site is kept perfectly tidy, nicely laid out with a mixture of tree's and open spaces for children to play as well as a indoor area with table tennis and pool, all making it a good choice for families. Longleat itself is literally next door, we had a 5 day pass which needs to be booked prior to arrival to benefit from the clubs discount. There is plenty to see and do around Longleat itself for both children & adults, house and grounds are excellent, set within beautiful countryside, a wide range of animals, activity's, play areas and peace and quiet with nothing but the roar of lions or sea lions at night. NOTE; Club members which arrive early, why? It is important to follow the clubs advice reference arrival times, and the narrow spots on the access route, we left at 10:45 and met another caravan coming down the lane, very annoying. Would also like to mention the newly recruited assistant wardens, very helpful and welcoming. An example to all other wardens.
