Best site we have visited to date

We have been touring for 4 years through Europe and the UK but this was our first visit to the Longleat club site. I am glad I spoke to the staff before arriving as the satnav would have sent me down a very hair-raising road to the site but their directions were short and easy to follow. The staff are very friendly and the site is one of the best organised we have visited. It is clean and nestled in the trees on the outskirts of the Longleat estate. You can hear the animals from the safari park especially one that sounds like an indignant sea lion. This makes it very idyllic in the morning. Unexpected news during our stay meant that we had to stay for longer than planned. The site was already booked up on one of the days we needed but the staff were amazing and managed to fit us in so we could stay. Our visit was just after Covid restrictions were eased and we had arrived at Longleat following on from a site with no facilities open. Longleat had the toilets and showers open with processes in place to keep people safe. The facilities are clean and we will definitely be returning in the future. We would also recommend people try the Cross Keys pub and shop down the road. There is a milk vending machine and a chilled vending machine that sells butter, cheese and meat. The shop inside sells most of what you would need for your stay and the pub is great too.

Thankyou, for your review, we are planning to stay here at the end of August. I now know to check the route before leaving as i have been on some hair raising roads in the past.
