What a great site, staff are friendly and welcoming, unlike some club sites which I find slightly regimental.
I will definitely be returning to this site have my family.
The site made our visit to the safari park even more enjoyable.
PERFECT FOR LONGLEAT VISIT
Stayed at this site over the easter holidays. The site is nice and clean with very good sized pitches which have electric and an ariel point. The staff are friendly and helpful. It takes 2 mins to walk into longleat which is great. The road leading to it is quite long but there are places to pass so it's not as bad as people say. Overall it's a great site if you going to longleat. I will definatly be going back.
Nearly perfect site
We , 2 adults and 3 children, stayed at the site for the reason to visit Longleat Safari Park .
The facilities were always clean and well heated. The staff was very friendly and it was a real pleasure for us , staying the first time at a campsite in Britain.
We also didn´t hear the lions roar , but we heared the sealions scream , which was great fun for the children.
Unfortunately the exchange rate from euro to british pound makes it nearly impossible to stay more often in Britain :)
Disappointed
Disapointed that there is no longer access to Longleat itself. We wanted to walk to the Barh Arms. Not allowed unless we paid £15 each for a day ticket. Therefore no pub nearby. In fact NOTHING nearby! I see no reason to visit this site. You cannot walk anywhere from the site easily. We walked a mile up the road to find a bridle path to walk our dog.
AND we did not awaken to lions roaring! We wont be back.
Good site but no pressure in the showers
We was here the week before Easter we have been here 3 times before same as it was then except the showers the pressure in them is not worth a light you can hardly wash in them cleaning times of the toilet block is much better I think but we had a nice stay
'Awesome' in the words of the kids!
We have just returned from 2 nights on this site. The wardens were fantastic on arrival and walked by after we had pitched without being intrusive. The facilities were excellent (as normal) and the kids (8 and 9 yrs) loved the trail and explorer book. My daughter was poorly and we needed a supermarket, the wardens gave us concise instructions and when we returned they were busy helping to anchor someone's awning down that had come adrift in the high winds.
Walk to Longleat was 2 minutes out the gate and worth every penny; would definitely recommend the safari tour on the bus. We can't wait to go back!
Great for all
Great for, and as we have all come to expect lovely staff. Short walk to Longleat, don't forget to download your discount codes before you leave home and print'um off! One small moan, as a motorhomer the MSP is only for grey water and not black and no bins. Otherwise stars 5.
Excellent except for.......
Immaculately clean throughout the site, wardens deserve 10/10.
Only slight downturn was the wifi , even through the club system was at best poor. (No reflection on the site, and it is highlighted in the book, but worth bearing in mind.)
Would go again.

isolated.
Up to usual high standards of caravan club. Lack of phone signal and the sites location left us feeling a bit isolated. Wardens very friendly. Suggest if phone is a necessity you go online to check your providers coverage in that area.
Weekend Rally
We were one of the Rally officers on the Wiltshire Centre Rally. When we arrived at the Longleat Caravan Park we was given a very warm welcome from the Wardens. The facilities were very good and clean. Thankyou to all of the Wardens. Pete
