We have stayed at this site many times in our 10 years of caravanning and have always given an excellent review. We arrived 2 days ago and found a once pristine site looking far from its former glory. Some grass areas have been left to grow ( for some time ) and bushes not trimmed it makes the site look unkempt. The staff keep the toilets clean and are friendly. We used to find the little shop handy but this has long gone. Please bring it back to the high standards set by previous staffing it’s a lovely area to visit.

You may have not have noticed but there are signs around the site explaining that the club were supporting NO MOW MAY to encourage wild life. The grass has now been cut. All the hedges are cut as soon the birds have fledged and we only have one area left to finish. We have been at the site for 3 years and take pride in keeping it clean and well kept. I wish you had asked why the grass was long and why the hedges were not trimmed. But thank you for noticing the toilets and showers are kept clean.

We arrived in JUNE Those signs went up the day after our review was written. It is the duty of the management who are providing a service ( that we pay for), to take on all reviews and opinions , good or bad, and to take them on board as they move forward turning them into outcomes which are more positive, not take them as personal.As customers we have a right to express our feelings and review the site in a manner we see fit.To be honest helps others to decide in future where to stay. Our original review still stands having been to the site before it did look unkempt.Having just left today , there were still large areas uncut.
