We arrived on the Friday of the May Day bank holiday. The weather was stunning. On arrival the member of staff that greeted us made us very welcome and pointed out the pitches that would best suit our requirements. The site is conveniently located just south of the hamlet of Lyminster the entrance 50 yards from the main road. That said our pitch was pretty quiet from road noise and backed on to allotments. The seaside town of Littlehampton has had quite a bit of re-generation of the last decade or so and was looking great along the riverside and promenade. For none car drivers it is a 30 min walk though there is a bus (Number 9) that leaves from outside the 6 Bells pub (recommended for Sunday lunch) or if you stand opposite the pub the bus (No 9 again) goes to Arundel. Arundel is a must visit and Chichester and Chichester harbour just a short drive. There is a huge market at Ford (just over the Arun) on Thursdays, Saturdays and a car boot on Sunday morning. We'll be booking again very soon.
