Short break
We chose the site as we hadn't stayed in the area before. After reading previous reviews, we thought it was a good location to explore. The welcome was up to the usual standard. It would have been useful if we had been told which pitches were still free. We ended up riding round, and found ourselves at the exit without a barrier key. We was allowed out, but due to the tight turn, we had to go out of the site turn left to the roundabout and back into the site. We ended up on pitch 7. Lovely large pitches, with full sun. The only downside is the road noise, train track near, which we was aware of, but also a building opposite the dog walk was obviously a business of some sort, constant drilling sawing and hammering. It wasn't a peaceful break unfortunately.
A trip to Arundel Castle is a must, It is well worth the money to visit the castle and its amazing gardens.
The site itself is pristine, the toilets immaculate. The wardens certainly work hard. Which is why it was full for the duration of our stay. Loved the site and location, but not sure I would stay again as I like a peaceful location.
